Gabriel Lott

Brazil

Gabriel Lott was skydiving in England in 1998 when he first saw someone jump a wingsuit, and from that moment on he wondered what it would feel like to fly one – until a few years later when he had a chance to do it himself. Since then, he’s made thousands of wingsuit flights from aircraft and fixed objects and has opened up more routes in Brazil than any other pilot. “I love it,” he says. “For me, it is the closet the human can get to true human flight.” He is excited at the prospect of racing at the Grand Prix against the world’s best pilots, but admits that he is unsure how well he will do. “I have only competed one time, so I don’t have a lot of racing experience, but I’ll have a chance and it will be an honor to be among some of my idols! Let’s have some fun!”
