Graham Dickinson started wingsuit skydiving soon after he started parachuting when he bought a Birdman Classic. On his fifth wingsuit jump, WWL veteran and Red Air Force wingsuit pilot Mike Swanson invited him on a jump and Graham says “it was a life changing experience. Human beings have been obsessed by the idea of flight, and imagined themselves flying among the clouds, and soaring like birds. The mythology of many cultures abounds with gods and kings borne through the air; the power of flight was often attributed to gods. In this day and age we have the tools and technology to be able to fly and some people have no desire, I personally cannot fathom this concept. I live to fly and to explore the heavens every possible day I can.” Graham is looking forward to the 2016 Grand Prix because he says “it has always been a dream of mine to compete in the WWL,” but he is also happy that Italian model and ace wingsuit pilot Roberta Mancino is not competing this year because racing her would be “too distracting.”
