Jesse Hall

United States

Go big or stay in bed!

Jesse Hall grew up in Colorado in the USA and starting in childhood spent as much time as he could in the mountains skiing and rock climbing. He became a professional skier at an early age and developed a skillset that in 2005 won him the North American Extreme skiing championship. After that victory, he started parachuting and soon graduated to BASE jumping, ski BASE jumping, and wingsuit BASE. “Wingsuiting is the most amazing sensation I have found in life,” he says, “and wingsuit BASE is so awesome because I’m flying in the most powerful, scenic places in the world, from Norway to Italy, France, Switzerland, Canada and the USA.” Sometimes Jesse combines his two top sports, making winter trips to otherwise inaccessible spots by skiing into the launch point and jumping, then mountaineering back to where he left his skis and skiing back out to his vehicle. Jesse feels confident that he’ll do well in the Grand Prix because of his skiing competition experience and because he says “I’ve been flying a lot lately so I feel very confident and current with my abilities. I have not raced here before so the whole thing feels very new to me – do let’s all have fun and go fast!”
