First ever Chinese wingsuit pilot at WWL

Shupeng Zhang is a world champion and world record holder paraglider pilot, and one of China’s most experienced sport parachutists. He was inspired to start skydiving and wingsuit flying after watching the inaugural World Wingsuit League China Grand Prix races in 2012. His paragliding skill and experience allowed him to progress quickly in the sport and he now has more than 1,300 wingsuit flights among his 1,800+ total parachute jumps. He is excited compete in this year’s Grand Prix and thinks his international competitive experience in paragliding will help him compete against more experienced wingsuit pilots. “It will also be a great honor to represent my country as the first Chinese pilot to compete in the WWL.”
