Enjoy your Dreams

Tom Erik Heimen hikes and runs between 80,000 and 150,000 vertical meters every wingsuit BASE jumping season, mostly in European mountains where he also competes in triathlons. He is known for literally running up mountains to the launch points, a practice rarely copied by his fellow wingsuit pilots. For Tom Erik, it’s not only the jumping that’s important; he loves anything that allows him to immerse himself in nature, the wilder and farther from civilization, the better! At the same time, as a husband and father, he focuses intensely on planning and executing his daring flights with maximum safety so that, when he returns home, he can “look my family in the eyes and know I have not taken any unnecessary risks.” One of Tom Erik’s favorite wingsuit BASE routes is Bispen, where the flight path goes so close by a road the tourists can almost reach out and touch him – and he can hear them howl with delight. He hopes to hear the same thing this year at the China Grand Prix!
